FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Industry Veteran with 30 Years in Golf, Sports Entertainment, and Retail Joins Brand at a Pivotal Moment of Expansion
JUPITER, FL: PopStroke, a national leader in golf entertainment, announced the appointment of Matt Corey as Chief Growth Officer. The role is newly created, a deliberate move to bring focused executive leadership to the pillars driving PopStroke’s next chapter through revenue expansion, brand and partnership development, and market growth.
The announcement comes as PopStroke reaches 21 venues nationwide, with three additional locations slated to open this year and continued expansion into new markets on the horizon. The brand is also rolling out key consumer initiatives, including its Senior Membership program, Summer Pass, and expanded weekly specials across all venues. Corey joins the executive leadership team with the experience and vision to build on that momentum and identify the new opportunities ahead.
“As we look at where PopStroke goes next, we are focused on redefining what a golf entertainment brand can be for guests and partners alike,” said Greg Bartoli, Founder and CEO of PopStroke. “We have built something that resonates across 21 venues, and the trajectory ahead is strong. Matt brings 30 years of building brands, growing audiences, and opening new revenue opportunities. His leadership will help us push further into new markets and partnerships and ensure we are delivering long-term value at every level of this business. We are excited to have him on board, and I’m looking forward to what we build together.”
As a member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to Bartoli, Corey will lead PopStroke's growth across revenue, brand marketing, and new markets. In this role, Corey will focus on driving sales across all venues through local market activation, digital and social engagement, and community programming. He will also drive a partnerships strategy that expands the competitive and community-driven tournament landscape and strengthen the in-venue experience in ways that build lasting guest connections.
Corey has spent his career at the intersection of golf, sports, entertainment, and experiential retail. He has served as CMO at the Tampa Bay Lightning, The PGA TOUR, and PGA TOUR Superstore, with earlier experience at The Home Depot. As CMO of the Lightning, Corey grew the franchise’s fan base through content-driven storytelling and performance marketing, driving fan growth and ticket sales revenue to record highs. Across each stop, his work has centered on creating the kind of emotional connection with audiences that turns customers into lifelong fans.
“I've been fortunate to have worked across retail, sports, and entertainment, and PopStroke sits right in the middle of all three," said Corey. "This brand has built a fun and unique experience that genuinely resonates with people. The product is strong, the growth is real, and what's possible from here is extraordinary. I'm looking forward to helping build the engine that takes us further.”
